WORKING WITH MACREQ
Frequently asked questions.
Do you own machines?
No — and that’s deliberate. We own engineering, quality, procurement, programming and inspection; qualified partners supply machine time. You get one accountable manufacturer with scalable capacity.
Are you AS9100 certified?
Macreq is ISO 9001:2015 certified. AS9100 and ISO 27001 implementation are currently in progress.
How is quality controlled across partners?
Macreq defines the material, tooling, process plan and inspection requirements, while qualified partners execute to the released manufacturing package. Final verification and documented release remain under Macreq control.
How do you protect controlled and proprietary technical data?
Technical data is released to production partners only as needed for a specific job, under confidentiality requirements and defined access controls.
Where is the machining physically performed?
Machining is carried out within Macreq’s qualified production network. Partners are selected according to the process, material, capacity and quality requirements of each job.
How do you handle special processes such as heat treatment, surface treatment and NDT?
Special processes are managed according to the applicable customer drawing and specification requirements, with supporting process documentation retained as required.
Can you support first-article inspection and PPAP-style documentation?
Yes. First-article planning and inspection can be supported with dimensional reports, material certificates and the documentation required by the applicable customer drawing and programme.
